A Grateful Recap and a Bright Outlook for 2024

We are thrilled to reflect on a beautiful year and express heartfelt gratitude. Our recent Christmas dinner at the Invercarse Hotel was a tremendous success, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the gracious presence of Lord Provost Bill Campbell and Lady Provost.

Their insightful contributions added immense value to our event, underscoring their commitment to our community’s growth. Thank you so much for your support and attention to our efforts.

Moreover, we would like to thank our dedicated committee members. Your unwavering support throughout the year has driven our mission forward. You are integral to creating a nurturing environment for female entrepreneurs and professionals in Dundee and Angus.

As we bid farewell to 2023, we want to recognise Marlena Kowalczyk for her outstanding contributions to our committee. Her dedication has been invaluable, and though she steps down, her impact remains indelible. We wish her the very best in her future endeavours.

Looking ahead, as the Chair of Women Ahead, Delia Smith-Bacur is excited to invite female entrepreneurs to join us in 2024. Let’s amplify our impact, add value to our local economy, and create an inclusive space where innovation and collaboration flourish. Your participation will shape your journey and contribute significantly to our collective growth.

We would especially like to thank Stephen Finn for these beautiful pictures. We are thrilled that you were the lucky winner of our raffle’s grand prize—an excellent piece of jewellery made by Elizabeth Humble, one of our outstanding committee members.

Thank you for participating in our raffle and giving away a bespoke private guided tour of the Dundee waterfront with DPW, won by our lovely committee member Jacqui Treays.

Women Ahead held a fundraising raffle at our recent event. The funds raised will allow us to donate to a chosen charity, to be revealed in January 2024.

We are grateful to all raffle participants for demonstrating generosity and commitment to this cause. The donation will create a positive impact and reflect Women Ahead’s core values.
